As explained elsewhere here, a major point of the Sony A33/55′s translucent mirror technology is to permit autofocus operation and image exposure to overlap each other, enabling very fast continuous burst shooting with accurate autofocus tracking. They in fact do a remarkable job of delivering 7fps or 10fps full-resolution shooting speeds, although in some respects, the experience is still rather different than shooting with high-end pro SLRs with that sort of burst capability. The heart of the difference has to do with what image the Sony A33 is showing you through the viewfinder at any given moment.
Add in the approx. 75 cents of AC shore power I pump in every night, and it works out in my head to about 5 cents per mile. Takes a lot of words and numbers to explain that figure, but the practical impact is that every day I drove over two hours, the car bought me lunch. I feel like I’ve patched a hole in my money pocket. This is half the running cost of any other car I’ve owned, including the TDI.
The Sweep Panorama modes create lengthy panoramic images with a single sweep over the scene, and do a good job of automatically correcting for uneven panning, although they do sometimes show stairstepping in nearby subjects. The 3D variant is particularly unusual, in that it calculates separate left and right-eye views by comparing the positions of subjects as seen by the left and right sides of the lens. The result is saved as a multi-picture object file containing separate left- and right-eye JPEG views of the scene, for viewing on 3D displays.
Sure you can say it’s cultural and you have to take this into account. It’s still bloody dishonest though! Just means their culture is dishonest. Same place where people skim fat out of the damn SEWER to cook food, and it ends up contaminated with all the industrial chemicals that were illegally dumped down the sewer.
As a result I wrote this article in 2015 outlining the issue, what I did to ID the problem and the solution.https://www.instructables.com/id/The-inner-workings-of-Counterfeit-FOTEK-SSRs/

But don’t believe brand names are any better, especially if you buy them from eBay or Amazon! There is too much profit to be made remarking parts to trust any of these type parts from anyone but a major distributor like DIGIKEY or MOUSER Electronics.
FR4 is actually quite a good insulator. It’s only real failure is when you have impurities on the surface of the PCB in very high humidity conditions. The impurities will cause the surface tension of the water molecules in air to lower and as this happens the water will condense onto the PCB. The water on the PCB reduces the effective creepage clearance and can cause a flash over or arc.
The place to start when talking about mains-voltage equipment is your bench. We realise you’ll probably be working at your kitchen table or wherever you happen to be, but it’s best to start an article like this with a baseline, of what you really should have when doing this stuff. There are three things we’d consider essential in the mains power system on a mains-voltage bench. An isolation transformer to power the item you are working on if it needs a mains supply, a residual current circuit breaker for the rest of your mains supplies, and an emergency isolation switch for all bench power.
The key is to reference NEC NFPA 70 Table 310.15(B)(16) to find the ampacity of a conductor and size that conductor according to the MCA listed on the unit label. When this is done, the conductor will be properly sized according to the NEC.
