If you do not know the exact value of each cost, you could enter an estimated percentage based on the cost of goods.
Um, Though I live in Oz where we have 240 volt mains, I can see a big error in how it is explained. On, you get two different “phases” on th 110v side of things to increase the measured voltage.
Australia is similar, except 3ph is uncommon in a house. There’s 3 phase at the kerb and each house is connected to one phase.
Steady in the dark. The Sony A33′s Handheld Twilight (HHT) mode uses multiple shots and micro-alignment to permit handheld exposures even in very dark conditions. This was a very dark bar scene, but the shot came out sharp enough for a 5×7 print. It could have used some exposure adjust and (definitely) a different white balance setting. Exposure is auto-only in HHT mode, but the similar multi-frame NR mode gives full control.
#PreferLinux mentioned switching off at the mains socket. Do that, but still test; that saved me once when the switch was faulty. Yes, that socket was replaced, pronto!
I don’t approve of that design. It lacks the third relay, which means that if you plug into two circuits on the same phase, you get 0 volts between the two hots, but both are still 120 volts away from ground. That means that the equipment doesn’t work, but it’s not safe to poke at. I prefer to insure that the 240 volt outlet is guaranteed to either be completely dead, or properly powered.
Heater might be pulling 22 A when hot, but on power up … likely much more. Think about incandescent lightbulb or electric motor, for example.
I also seen a technique where a relay is placed in parallel with the zero crossing triac so the triac is only passing the load for 200ms or so while the relay switches. Since the triac is on longer than the relay, the contacts don’t arc over when switching, and the traic doesn’t pass the current all the time.
Exposure. The Sony A33 offers a selection of exposure modes commonplace on any DSLR, as well as several more unusual modes. These include Auto, Auto+ (Advanced Auto), Programmed AE, Aperture Priority, Shutter-speed Priority, Manual, Continuous Advance Priority AE, Sweep Panorama, Scene, and Flash Off modes. The Advanced Auto mode acts much like a regular Auto mode, taking control of most settings, but differs from the standard Auto mode in that it can also access some of Sony’s more unique multi-shot modes, such as Handheld Twilight and High Dynamic Range. Continuous Advance Priority AE increases the maximum burst shooting speed as compared to the standard Continuous Advance modes, but does so by requiring the aperture be fixed near its open position. The Sweep Panorama mode can function in either 2D or 3D variants, and allows capture and in-camera stitching of multi-shot panoramic images by simply pressing the shutter button and sweeping the camera across the subject. A selection of user-friendly scene modes accessed through the Scene position include Portrait, Sports Action, Macro, Landscape, Sunset, Night view, Hand-held Twilight, and Night Portrait, and let beginners get the look they’re aiming for, without needing to understand the subtleties of shutter speeds, apertures, and the like.
Alternatively, the stillborn 42V automotive power standard is another solution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/42-volt_electrical_system
